How to Dye Cotton Yarn with a Tulip Tie Dye Kit

Most of the dyeing tutorials I have made only work on animal fibers, not plant fibers like cotton. I am thrilled today to show you how to dye yarn with the Tulip Tie Dye Kit, allowing you to dye cotton in addition to wool and other fibers. This video shows two methods to dye your cotton yarn, first by winding it into a skein and second by applying dye directly to the the ball of yarn. The Tulip Tie Dye Kit contains almost everything you will need for your dyeing project (except the yarn) but don’t forget to protect your work space!
